FAQ

How long it takes to ship?

Order Shipment:

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at contact@remotefurniture.com.

All items are delivered via DHL, USPS, ePacket, and FedEx, among many other local carriers. Standard Ground free shipping will take approximately 3-7 business days for your product to arrive. Express delivery options deliver in 1-3 business days. 

Damages:

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If you notice any damage, you should note it when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos or videos to contact@remotefurniture.com, and we will process a return-shipping claim on your behalf.

Once your claim is processed, approved and the product is received in our distributor’s warehouse, please allow 3–5 business days for the request to be completed. If a replacement unit or parts are requested, please be aware that the fulfillment time frame is based on product availability, and alternatives may be offered if the product is no longer in stock.

Cancellations & Refunds:

All orders cancelled after 48 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped.  If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.

 

What is your refund policy?

We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@remotefurniture.com. Please note that the product must be returned to the address on the package the product came in. 

In case you simply changed your mind, you can ship the product back within 15/30 days of receiving the product and you will be refunded. Please note that you will have to pay the extra shipping cost.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

In case of a damaged product or a wrong product, we will ask for photos as proof to effectively communicate this with the supplier and help process the refund. You simply contact us and provide us a picture of the damaged product, let us know the order number and the item name and from there, we will take it forward.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Unfortunately, at this time, our refund policy applies to USA only, no Canada refunds are available , Canada sales are Final Sale. 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
